A mantra is a sound, syllable, word, or group of words that is thought to be able to create transformation. It is referred to in many religions including Hindu and Christian alike. By concentrating on the resonance of the mantra you can free yourself of thought patterns and create space for connection to Source.

This CD includes two very powerful mantras chanted by the hauntingly beautiful and resonant voice on Hein Braat who is the most famous mantra singer in the Netherlands. His popularity stretches across international borders.

The two mantras are Om Namaha Shivaya and the Brahma Murari mantra.

Om Namah Shivaya invokes Lord Shiva who is known as the destroyer. But he is also the restorer. Although there are many interpretations of the mantra, one of the more popular is to invoke Lord Shiva's destructive powers to disintegrate everything within us that no longer serves and that keeps us separate and small and to restore our sense of wholeness and completeness so that we can return to oneness and holiness. Because of its prayer we use this in breathwork sessions. But it works just as well as background music to read by or relax.

The other mantra is The Brahma Murari invoking the graces of Lord Brahma.
